In late 2024, Phaidon International’s Los Angeles office partnered with us to accelerate their hiring efforts during a key growth phase.
With a restructured internal TA team and ambitious sales targets, the business needed a reliable partner to source and engage high-potential early-career talent. Led by Francesca Batt, and later supported by Deshon Carty, we became an integral part of their hiring strategy, contributing 6–7 placements (and counting) and enabling the team to scale with confidence.
The Challenge
Phaidon’s LA office was in high-growth mode, needing to expand its coverage across core markets by bringing in driven, coachable, and ambitious sales talent. With a focus on entry-level candidates, often fresh out of college or with 1–2 years of experience, the team needed a partner who could spot raw potential and effectively convey Phaidon’s fast-paced, high-reward environment. Internally, the TA team was going through restructuring, adding further urgency and complexity to the hiring process.
The Solution
Francesca and Deshon delivered a fast, focused, and effective recruitment solution. By quickly aligning with the hiring manager’s preferences, Fran was able to prioritise high-impact roles in the LA office and concentrate efforts where they would have the biggest impact. Her hands-on screening process ensured only the most aligned candidates were put forward, saving time, increasing conversion, and keeping the interview process streamlined.
Each candidate was fully briefed on Phaidon’s business and culture, and the process included a final in-person stage where candidates could meet the team and experience the office environment. As hiring momentum grew, Deshon also joined the project to support further expansion, contributing to an ongoing stream of high-quality placements.
