Recruitment Consultant – Energy & Engineering
$90k–$110k base + uncapped 30% commission
New York, NY | Hybrid (3+ days in Midtown office)

The Recruitment Consultant – Energy & Engineering will own and grow a vertical within energy engineering, automation, or smart building tech, building deep client relationships and high-fee placements in an underserved market.
Role Highlights
– Run a full 360 desk in one of three proven, low-competition markets
– Place high-value candidates in energy, HVAC controls, or SaaS within the built environment
– Average fees between $30K–$60K in relationship-led search, not high-volume placement
– Leverage an established database, brand, and peer network while building your niche
– Collaborate in a tight NYC team, with hands-on support from a still-billing leader
You Will Need
– A proven track record in 360 recruitment, ideally with project-based or technical sectors
– Confidence building BD from scratch, spotting gaps, and spec’ing candidates
– A strong relationship-first mindset and understanding of candidate-short markets
– NYC residency or ability to work onsite 3+ days/week
– Bonus if you’ve worked in energy, architecture, engineering, or construction sectors
