The Opportunity
The client has set out to become the world's leading executive search firm for SecureTech — cyber, AI, internal security, quantum and defence. Founded four years ago, the business has grown from £3m last year toward a £7.5m target this year, and is on a clear path to £50m by 2030. This is the moment to join.
We're hiring a senior GTM operator to help build our Executive Search practice from the front. Working retained mandates at VP to C-level across venture-backed cyber and AI vendors — from stealth through to publicly traded — you'll partner directly with the founders and investors shaping these categories, and play a defining role in how the practice scales. This isn't a seat at an established firm; it's the chance to build something, fast-track to Partner, and become a genuinely influential figure in the markets that matter most.
Key Responsibilities
A senior, origination-led search role with a clear mandate to build. You will:
- Own retained mandates end-to-end — briefing to close — across VP to C-level GTM leadership (CRO, CMO, VP Sales and broader revenue roles).
- Win new business and deepen accounts across our cyber and AI client base, from stealth to publicly traded.
- Build relationships with founders and investors, with a particular focus on the US market.
- Run rigorous, research-led search that delivers strong shortlists at pace.
- Own your pipeline transparently, with clear weekly visibility on mandates and timelines.
- Collaborate with the Embedded and RPO teams to scale accounts through the dual-platform model.
- Help shape the practice — its process, tooling and direction — and, over time, build a team of your own.
- Proven executive search experience across technology, cyber, AI or SaaS, and the commercial instincts of a natural hunter.

- Base salary of £120k+, with bespoke ramp structures available in Years 1 and 2.
- Origination-led commission: 20% up to £50k, 30% from £50k-£500k, 40% from £500k-£1m, and 50% above £1m, with Year 1 accelerators for strategic hires.
- Realistic OTE of c.£250k in Year 1, rising to c.£450k in Year 2.
- A fast-track route to Partner and future equity participation for senior leaders.
- 12 months: a minimum of £500k billed, with strong origination and a healthy pipeline established.
- Year 2: £800k-£1.2m, deepening key accounts and building market presence.
- Year 3: another £1m+ year, with the platform — and potentially a team — taking shape around you.
