Senior/Principal Recruitment Consultant – Climate & Clean Energy
£45,000- £60,000 + OTE (base + commission)

The Senior/Principal Recruitment Consultant will drive permanent US hiring projects across clean energy, climate tech and the built environment, delivering retained, multi-hire and specialist GTM searches end-to-end.
Role Highlights
– Own 360 retained and multi-hire mandates across US clean-energy and climate-tech markets
– Build and maintain deep networks within smart buildings, energy efficiency, automation and behind-the-meter technology
– Lead consulting engagements with founders and executives, shaping hiring roadmaps and delivering repeatable success
– Manage full-cycle search delivery, from market mapping to offer close, ensuring outstanding candidate and customer experience
– Travel to the US several times a year for client visits, conferences and market immersion
You Will Need
– 3–5 years’ experience as a Permanent Senior/Principal Consultant
– Strong track record in US placements, ideally across enterprise vendors or engineering-led environments
– Proven retained/multi-hire experience with consistent annual billings of £350k–£400k+ (or 15–20+ placements/year)
– Ability to work US-aligned hours (10am–7pm Mon–Thu, 9am–5pm Fri)
– A resilient, driven, consultative approach with evidence of repeat business and long-term customer partnerships
