Associate Consultant - Executive Search
£30,000 base + commission
Central London | Office-based

Our client is a boutique executive search firm, who operate at the very top end of the market, delivering 100% retained search assignments for FTSE 100 and Fortune 250 clients across the Technology sector.
With a standout year behind them and an exceptional start to this year working with some of the world's most recognisable brands, they are looking to grow their team based in Central London.
As an Associate Consultant, you will:
As an Associate, you’ll join a close-knit delivery team working directly with the Partners on live searches from day one. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to senior-level mandates and high-calibre clients, with a strong emphasis on quality, research depth, and communication.
Key Responsibilities include:
– Mapping senior-level talent markets across Tech functions
– Conducting first-stage calls with candidates at VP, SVP, Director, and Senior –Director level
– Supporting live retained searches from day one
– Proactively reaching out to candidates via LinkedIn and targeted email outreach
– Building credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders early in the process
– Delivering well-researched, high-quality shortlists (quality over quantity)
For the first 12-18 months, the role has a strong research and delivery focus, with progression built on capability, trust, and exposure rather than KPIs.
You Will Need:
– Bachelors Degree (2:1 or above required) with strong academic foundations
– Someone who can demonstrate tenacity, resilience, and drive through academics, work experience, or extracurricular pursuits
– An outgoing, confident communicator comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
– A team-oriented individual excited to help build something and get involved from day one
– Candidates open to a research-heavy start, with long-term progression in executive search
Prior search experience is not required. Cultural fit, communication style, and motivation matter most.
