Pure Search is an established legal search and recruitment business with the capability to undertake mandate-led work across our offices in London, NYC, Hong Kong and Singapore. Our legal team forms an integral part of our global business and we currently derive 36% of our global revenue from legal search and recruitment activities. Our global turnover in 2018 was c£15.5m.

Our total legal and compliance headcount globally is c26 people.

Our consultants have access to the latest technology platforms to identify and source candidates. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our candidate network, this distinguishes us from others in the market. We are not a volume player and the bespoke work we undertake continues to support our position in the market.

We envisage that the successful person will collaborate and work effectively with all our international offices on the strategic enhancement to our client service offering.

This role is to provide support to experienced consultants, enabling them to focus on fee generation. It involves candidate generation, assisting on managing assignments and junior level tasks associated with the recruitment process.

Principal duties and responsibilities;

Candidate cycle:

Generates candidates through referrals and networking, including proactively supporting candidate networking events.

Meet candidates to assess them for roles.

Builds effective relationships with candidates through regular candidate updates.

Develops interview style to conduct effective candidate registration interviews independently.

Actively sources and briefs candidates for the team, using a variety of sources (online, database etc)

Converts research into ‘real’ candidates.

Supports the management of the recruitment process, including shortlisting candidates for interview, and loading candidatedetails onto client portals.

Carries out research for clients, typically on the market for candidates; and for Pure, typically on client organisations and sectors.

Attends client meetings with senior colleagues.


Candidate management:

Ensures candidate feedback forms are sent out to placed candidates.

Manages our “placed candidate ticklist” – cupcakes, phone calls, lunches, client call and updating call.

Provides cover when required to format, proofread and update CV’s through Jobscience.

Provides support with mapping of candidates.

Uploads candidate applications onto portals.

Linked in - supports the group page with ideas for new postings, boosting followers.


Financial management and commercial performance:

Follows financial procedures, including expenses and cost control.

Ensures placements are authorised and accurately completed.

Fully utilises and optimizes JobScience to best practice standards.
